Music Education Matters advocates for strong music programs in the Beaverton School District by organizing parents, teachers, and concerned citizens who support the presence of music as a core academic subject.           

Our goal is to have quality music programs equitably represented at every school in the Beaverton School District from Kindergarten through the 12th grade.

We are providing this online forum to disperse information, media, and research that will help our constituents become effective music advocates. 

We are assisting parents in becoming informed about how budgetary and instructional decisions may affect music education in our district by building a database of e-mail addresses for every parent of a music student in the Beaverton School District.  Anyone can join our mailing list and we want to involve as many people as possible.  Please join our mailing list today. Then, share our cause with your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.  Ask them to visit our site and join our mailing list, too!
